Photography is more than pressing a button. It’s the art of witnessing moments as they unfold — the fleeting, emotional, once-in-a-lifetime pieces of our story that deserve to be held close. These are the moments we return to years later with awe, gratitude, and a sense of “how did time move so quickly?”
After eight years behind the camera, I’ve learned that I’m not here to simply take photos, I’m here to create art. As a Phoenix wedding and maternity photographer, I’m drawn to the love, connection, and quiet energy within every season of life. When I photograph weddings, engagements, motherhood, or newborns, I’m not searching for the perfect pose. I’m searching for a feeling, the one that lives between you and the people you love.
Because a powerful image isn’t about technical perfection or chasing a “pretty” picture. It’s about meaning. Soul. The greater story. You can walk into a museum and be moved by a piece of art. With me, you can bring that feeling home.
My beliefs are rooted in nature, the universe, and the idea that our existence transcends time and space. My work celebrates life in all its forms: the bonds we create, the transformations we experience, and the love that shapes us. I created Moonlight Photography, now Silvia Aguayo Photography, to honor these values and to give you photographs that continue to breathe long after the moment has passed.
